Our faculty are passionate about the subjects they teach and bring this enthusiasm into their lessons. LSIA teachers understand and prioritize building relationships with students and families first and foremost. We also partner with industry and community experts to provide additional learning opportunities for our students and families that are critical in our Life Success model.

LIFE SUCCESS PILLARS

Life Success International Academy will implement an educational program that is laser-focused on developing students who are curious, empathetic, flexible, intrepid, problem solvers, and globally minded. Our program offers a safe harbor for discovery and encourages student agency. We will accomplish this through a foundation of excellence built on the pillars of a safe and service learning-oriented environment, technology-rich and rigorous learning platform, community-focused experiences, personal learning plans, and a professional learning environment for students, staff, parents, and the community. The following belief statements encompass the educational program and build from the pillars of Life Success International Academy.

Academic excellence: A successful education provides a foundation that students need to thrive in grade school, college, and beyond. Our focus is on Success for Life! We understand success will differ for individuals, but our goal is to prepare all students for college and careers. This starts with a culture focused on high care and high expectations for all students every day. Our curriculum, culture, and excellent teaching will help us meet or exceed standards and ensure students master skills and knowledge at each grade level.

Student responsibility: Students excel when they know what is expected of them and can take pride in seeing results generated by their best effort. To best support self-advocacy, students need feedback and clarity. Through a system of personalized learning plans, all students will be on a path to success that promotes leadership, student agency, and personal learning.

Parental partnerships: To build strong parent engagement, we will actively engage parental figures in their children’s learning and consistently communicate with them. Moral focus: Our moral focus curriculum will build and focus on core virtues as we develop students’ hearts as well as their minds. Life Success International Academy will help students build and maintain a strong personal character and become influential and upstanding citizens in a global society.

International perspective: LSIA students will acquire an in-depth understanding of different cultures and perspectives through structured interactions with our international school partners. Students will engage in online projects, lessons, and workshops with students and teachers from across the globe. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set up by the United Nations General Assembly in 2015 provide the foundations for the development of student work. Students will participate quarterly in these International Learning Community collaborations.
